Roger OaklandPresident
Founded Oakland Corporation in 1982. Prior experience includes 7 years in marketing and management with Monroe Systems, 2 years in cost accounting and data processing error correction with Sundstrand, and 2 years as a high school mathematics teacher at Corwith-Wesley Schools. Graduated Iowa State University in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Education. Roger has called on grain elevator companies and developed software for ag business since 1976.
Chuck CarlsonVice President
Joined Oakland Corporation in 1987. Prior experience includes 12 years as controller of a cooperative elevator company. Graduated Mankato State University in Finance. Chuck is charge of all operations except marketing.
Lois Oakland
Co-founded Oakland Corporation in 1982, stockholder, and Corporate Officer. Primary responsiblities include payroll, corporate accounting, and taxes. Lois participates in all corporate decisions.
Sales
Arlen Oakland
Joined Oakland Corporation in 1986. Previous experience includes working as an Assistant Industrial Engineer and Industrial Engineer for a company in Central Iowa in both the payroll department and working with PC´s in the factory to establish labor standards. Arlen has been involved in computer and ag business industries since 1979. Arlen is in charge of all existing customer sales.
Software Support
John LounsberryClient Services Director
Began working for Oakland Corporation in 1997. Before joining Oakland Corporation, John was a coop manager for 1 year and a controller/grain merchandiser for 12 years. Other experiences include 4 years working as an auditor for a CPA firm doing coop audits. John has been involved in the ag industry since 1980.
Shirley Becker
Joined Oakland Corporation in 1997. Before joining Oakland Corporation Shirley worked in the bookkeeping and grain departments of an Iowa cooperative for over 8 years. Total of 10 years professional coop and other Ag business experience.
Wavern DeJong
Joined Oakland Corporation in 1994, following 15 years at Taintor Cooperative in New Sharon, Iowa and 7 years in the Accounting Department at Massey Ferguson before that. Graduated from the Computer Education course at Indian Hills in Ottumwa. Wavern's years of ag and accounting expertise reach back to 1969.
Dolores Morgart
Has been at Oakland Corporation since July 5, 2000. Prior to that she was the Assistant Accountant of a coop for 19 years. Dolores began working in the ag industry in 1981.
Doug Raveling
Joined Oakland Corporation in 1997. Previous experiences include 1 year at Stravenger Ag Service followed by 6 years as a branch manager, 12 years as an assistant manager, and finally 3 years as the general manager of an Iowa cooperative. Doug has worked in the ag industry since 1975.
Tim Vande Kamp
Began working for Oakland Corporation in 1996. Previous experience includes working at the local cooperative level in various positions for 19 years. Tim's ag and accounting experience reaches back to 1977.
Larry Young
Has been with Oakland Corporation since 1996. Prior to that, worked 22 years at 2 different coops - 16 of those years as a General Manager. Additional experience includes teaching vocational agriculture after graduating from ISU. Larry has been involved in the ag industry since 1970.
IT Support
Aaron ShawIT Director
Began working for Oakland Corporation in 2003. Graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Management Information Systems. Experiences include Windows and Linux server administration, networking, and internet security. Aaron is in charge of Information Technologies.
David Licht
Joined Oakland Corporation in 2000. Dave grew up on a farm in North Central Iowa and helped wherever needed. Graduated from Iowa Central with a major in Computer Networking.
John Mogren
Began working for Oakland Corporation after graduating from ISU in 1994, majoring in Computer Science. Worked 2 years while attending school in the ISU computation center. "Mogy" has worked as a computer technology specialist since 1992.
Rachel Winecoff
Began working at Oakland Corporation in 2004. Rachel takes IT support calls and also manages inventory. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001.
Development
Robb McMullen
Joined Oakland Corporation in 1988. Primary responsibilites include development of Grain, Accounting, Fertilizer, Payroll and Patronage modules. Graduated Morningside College in Computer Science and Accounting. Robb is responsible for all development updates and has done everything from programming to installation and support.
Dan Oakland
Began working at Oakland Corporation in 2000. Develops software applications and interfaces and assists in maintaining Oakland Corporation web sites. Previously worked as an account executive for a multimedia agency in New York and as a coordinator for international relations in Japan. Graduated from the University of Iowa in 1997.
Paul Oakland
Joined Oakland Corporation in 2000. Maintains and assists in development on FarmerData.com and OaklandCorp.com.
